The directory picker supplies names with one chosen-root prefix (for example Picked/); that prefix defines the comparison root and is not part of a playlist entry. Exact membership is not playback proof. Candidate lists are evidence previews, never selected resolutions. Absolute paths, URLs, HLS, legacy encodings, symlinks, aliases and platform normalization remain unsupported or unobserved.

Understand the base before editing a playlist

A relative entry is mapped from the folder containing the selected playlist, not from the folder you happened to pick. For example, Picked/sets/mix.m3u with ../media/track.ogg maps lexically to Picked/media/track.ogg. Membership still does not prove playback.

The table retains original line order. Use First, Previous, Next and Last to reach every result, with up to 100 rows shown at once. Each path display is limited to 500 characters with a truncation marker; a candidate preview shows up to 10 names plus the full count.

Limits: one UTF-8 playlist up to 1 MiB (1,048,576 bytes), 20,000 selected files and 10,000 parsed lines, including comments and blank lines. This is not a player, fixer, HLS inspector, filesystem crawler or compatibility certificate.
